Position Overview

Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI) is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Representative to support fielding efforts of new hardware / software baselines for the U.S. Army’s Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer (RVCT) program. This role will play a critical part in the next-generation simulation and training activities, overseeing team execution, logistics coordination, and equipment setup and support across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Candidate will provide daily objectives, develop work schedules, guide team performance, foster collaboration, mentor team members, manage projects and lead the training of new employees. The candidate will perform critical maintenance and technical support functions across the RVCT program.  Experience working across different departments in putting together load plans for Fieldings. Works closely with the production facility in managing the inventory of all equipment needed for each Fielding, ensures everything is received and tested on time. Works closely with Fielding Leads to identify and define strategies and plan resources to ensure adequate assets are in place for all activities. Works closely with the Fielding Leads to ensure the schedule is accurately reflected and adhered too.  Leads New Equipment Training according to Course Conduct and government requirements. Additionally, they will ensure effective communication to enhance productivity and achieve organizational goals.  Candidate will also be responsible for the reconfiguration and assembly/disassembly of RVCT devices, lift heavy objects and work with hand tools. This position will report to the Fielding Lead and act as such when Fielding Lead is unavailable.   

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience leading teams. Certification from an accredited leadership course, preferred
  • 5+ years of instructor experience; instructor certification from an approved course, preferred
  • Experience in Agile Project Management, Scrum Master Certification is a plus
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills related to collective training systems
  • Must be able to diagnose malfunctions and conduct troubleshooting/repairs
  • Ensures that work accurately follows Technical Manuals and guides
  • Able to resolve operational issues in the field
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required
  • A self-motivated drive for learning new technologies
  • Able to manage, plan for and execute high visibility Fieldings
  • Experience with requirements verification and validation process
  • Must be able to take initiative
  • Off-site travel of up to 60% of the year
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as information technology, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university or 6+ years of relevant experience can be substituted for degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience in delivering new equipment to the customer, and training on how to operate and maintain the new equipment.
  • 2+ years’ experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to collective trainers 

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • 5 years or greater experience virtual or collective simulation systems such as AVCATT, CCTT, or GFT
  • Experience with Industry best-practice collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Knowledge and experience of testing methodologies and analyzing results from small-scale unit testing to large-scale system testing
  • Ability to create and implement structured troubleshooting procedures
  • Inventory control and management foresight between the logistics department and the fielding department

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.  Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
