Position Overview

The Accounting/Finance Intern will be introduced to several areas of the Accounting and Finance departments and focus on completing assigned tasks within each department.

Responsibilities

Learn processes throughout the Accounting and Finance departments.
Complete assigned tasks.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree/major in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Business Management or related major/minor. 
  • Able to learn and perform the job duties of the position within assigned department.
  • Sound judgment capability and discretion with confidential information
  • Problem solving capabilities.
  • Self-starter, organize assignments, prioritize tasks, and complete projects on time.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail required. 
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Completed junior level coursework.
  • Strong financials analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Sound judgment capability and discretion with confidential information.
  • Problem solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Self-starter, organize assignments, prioritize tasks, and complete projects on time.
