Position Overview

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team to support various stages of product development, testing, and research. You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, learn from industry professionals, and make meaningful contributions to real-world projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
  • Collaborate with engineers to analyze and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve product performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation: reports, manuals, and specifications.
  • Support prototype assembly, testing, and validation under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in all aspects of work.

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Academic background in electrical circuits, power systems, and electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and measurement techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior internship or project experience in electrical engineering is a plus, but not required.

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

 

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.  Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
